Our cultural program “Resonance Spaces – Villa Beer” kicks off with a concert evening. Ernst Krenek’s String Quartet No. 5 was composed in the same year that Villa Beer was completed—1930, at the height of Viennese Modernism. With the Adamas Quartet and a reading by actor Johannes Silberschneider from Ernst Krenek’s autobiography "Im Atem der Zeit" (In the Breath of Time), music, text, and architecture intertwine, bringing the spirit of that era to life. An evening exploring new beginnings, change, and Krenek’s extraordinary musical legacy. Tickets will be available starting September 16.

On Heritage Day, we invite you to a special lecture with Benedikt Dekan, the project manager for the renovation. The renovation of Villa Beer and the restoration of its historic interior have yielded new insights into the building’s history, as well as the materials used and the restoration techniques applied. In his talk, Benedikt Dekan will provide insights into the challenges and unique aspects of the work. Afterward, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Villa Beer on your own for another 45 minutes. Unfortunately, tickets for Heritage Day on September 27 are already fully booked. Therefore, it is not possible to visit the house without a valid ticket on this day.
