Guest Room Teheran
Double room, 40 m², EUR 450 per night

The largest of our rooms is called “Teheran” – a reference to the fabric print of the same name designed by Josef Frank for Svenskt Tenn. The name and the delicately glowing flowers in the foreground refer to the inspiration behind this extraordinary design: a poetic, stylized interpretation of a Persian carpet. Lush, lobed leaves unfold in harmoniously coordinated shades such as madder red, wild mignonette, and indigo, lending the room depth and warmth. The “Teheran” room thus combines historical elegance with timeless comfort. “Teheran” was designed in the 1940s, but it was not printed for the first time in 1991.

Guest Room Brazil
Single room, 12 m², EUR 150 per night

Our single room “Brazil” pays homage to the lush colors of tropical landscapes. Named after the fabric design of the same name by Josef Frank, the room reflects a fascination with nature, diversity, and vibrant forms. The “Brazil” fabric print is one of the largest and most impressive seamless pattern designs from Frank's oeuvre. Created between 1943 and 1945, the rainforest motif unfolds a rich composition of lush, intense colors that reflect the abundance of tropical vegetation.
The “Brazil” room brings a piece of the colorful rainforest into our house.

Hawai Guest Room
Double room, 18 m², EUR 350 per night

Our double room is dedicated to the “Hawai” design and invites you on a quiet journey through shapes, cultures, and time. Josef Frank found inspiration for this extraordinary pattern at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, where he was fascinated by a collection of North Indian trees of life. Their organic structures and calm rhythms are reflected in the gently matted trunks of the Hawaii motif. With an impressive repeat of 180 cm, “Hawai” is one of the most generous and expressive textile prints in Frank's oeuvre. Created between 1943 and 1945, the design combines cosmopolitan inspiration with timeless elegance – lending the room an atmosphere of calm, spaciousness, and cultivated lightness.
